Stillpoint relies completely on the generosity of its volunteers, visitors, friends and supporters to finance its vital ministry.

The Stillpoint Centre is located at 16 Grove Street, Toowong, and is staffed entirely by volunteers. Individuals and small groups are invited to make use of our services and facilities, at a concession rate to students who are studying full-time or people on limited income.

However, your donations are invited towards meeting the costs of:

* Resource library (purchasing and replacing books, tapes, CDs, videos, magazines)

* Hospitality

* Retreats

* Quiet Days

* Courses

* Training

* Worship

* Rental and maintenance of premises, including garden

* Administration (computer, printer, broadband, telephone, mailings etc.)

The Stillpoint Vision is drawn from the words of Jesus, expressed in Matthew 11:28-30—

“Come to me, all you who are wearied and heavy laden, 
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and
learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is
easy and my burden is light.”

With these words providing the basis for its mission, Stillpoint affirms its grounding in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ and has its roots in the traditions of Christian spirituality.

Our Mission (the Stillpoint Way) is to provide a “Stillpoint in a turning world” by responding to a call:

* To mediate this invitation of Jesus for deep peace and soulful rest
* To learn from his gentle and humble heart
* To share with people in their struggles and searching, recognising that each person’s story is different.

Library	*All donations tax deductible	$40 p.a.
Newsletter	For mailed or emailed newsletter	$10 p.a.

People frequently seek advice regarding donations for the use of the Centre. The costs below are already included in our charges for courses, quiet days etc. As a guide, we would be grateful for payments on other occasions along the following lines:

For individuals:
* Half day (or equivalent) $5
* Full day $10
* Individual consultation with a
   Spiritual Director or Companion $30

For groups:
* Half day $5 per person
* Full day $10 per person
